Structurism

The second lecture was done on Wednesday (12.2.2009, 17:00) this week. The title was “Toward Humanoid Robots Accumulating Human Behaviors.” The lecture was on the symbolic modeling human behaviors. The structurism is the underlying philosophy of the symbolic behavior modeling based on the mimesis theory. The introduction of lecture placed it as the theoretical background of the study. It was most privileged to make this lecture at Collège de France, where Professor Claude Lévi-Strauss, the central structuralist, held the chair of cultural anthropology. He passed away the last month at one hundred years of age. The photo is from a rainy Sunday of sculptures at Louvre.
